Tips for Managing Web Color in Photoshop

You spend hours in Photoshop creating the perfect background image (or button, or photograph) for a client's web site. From the native .psd file, which you were careful to keep in RGB mode, you use Save for Web (from the File menu) to create a .jpeg, .gif or .png version of it.

Who Should Not Upgrade to QuarkXPress 7.01

Quark released QuarkXPress 7.01 a few weeks ago, a free update to version 7.0 that came out in the spring:

Careful reading of that update page, though, shows that it's not actually an update. It's simply the Macintosh "universal binary" version of QuarkXPress 7.0. There are no new features or fixed glitches.
